Quite pleased with the outcome of this weekend.

For once I must admit that this was one of those weekends in which I can reflect back on and smile. Its not to say it was one of the best weekends I've had but in terms of meeting some of the basic criteria of being a 'good weekend' it definitely did a good job doing so. Friday, Saturday and with the conclusion of Sunday I really can't complain with not necessary the amount of task completed but more so the enjoyment from said activities. Beginning with Friday I was able to get off work a bit earlier than usually but not the earliest day I can recall. Most of Friday afternoon was spent playing Cogs and watching esport streams. Watching streams are taking up a bit of my time as of late and I really need to ease off them a bit. That was essentially my day until Tyler came along late Friday night and spent well over 6-7 hours playing video games.

We started off with Bloodline Champions and transitioned over to Dungeon Defender. Bloodline Champions went well and Tyler seemed to enjoy himself with Dungeon Defenders. Once I explained how the game worked his engagement towards it increased greatly. Last time he said he tried it, it was 6 am int he morning, I was on the couch asleep and he didn't really understand what was going on. But with a small bit of tutorial/insight it seemed to make more sense. Think the best part of it all was watching the sunrise before heading off to bed.

Saturday I found myself waking up at 3 in the afternoon with very little on the agenda with the exception of obtaining a rather cheap monitor. Initially I thought it would be going on sale at might. Little did I realize it meant midnight on the west coast. So most of Saturday was spent...well I wanna say lazy but that's not entirely true. A portion of it I spent finalizing hotel cost for Magfest while another portion revolved around determining what activities I wanted to engage in for Saturday. I spent a bit more time playing Cogs as I'm starting to enjoy the increase difficult of each puzzle. A small bit of istropic was played and ended up going 4-2 so can't complain about that. Slowly drawing closer to evening out my win / lost ratio. There was a bit more Dungeon Defenders played that evening once Tyler got off work but we ended up only playing a couple hours and I had to bail during a boss fight due to the monitor deal. I feel a small bit bad about that. After I claimed my monitor I watched some esports streams and then went out to the grocery store (opens at 7 am). Then from there went to sheetz came back ate some 'breakfast' and went to bed around 10 am. Sunrise number 2 was viewed during this time as well.

Sunday has been pretty laided back as well as today has consisted of polishing up plans for the b-day party and relaxing. I'm hoping that int he next hour or so I can head off to bed but something tells me I'll probably be too awake for that. Think that's about it for ow and will be concluding this post. Good night all!
